Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Logistics/Maintainability Engineer for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to perform Logistics / Supportability / Maintainability Engineering tasks, conduct modeling and repair level analysis to minimize Operating and Support (O&S) costs, conduct Maintenance Planning and Provisioning Analysis and assigned tasks to ensure Supportability and Affordability requirements are achieved in the design.
Duties include:
Plan and perform logistics/maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers
Conduct Maintenance Planning Analysis that identify all preventative and corrective maintenance actions along with required spares and support equipment and the need for each maintenance action and documents this analysis in a Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) database compliant with GEIA-STD-0007 and compatible with POWERLOG-J
Provide support to Engineering staff for logistics requirement definition and allocation, detailed design guidance, system integration, and requirement verification
Flow down of the Supportability / Maintainability requirements to suppliers and audit/review of the supplier's analysis is also required
Provide Supportability / Maintainability analysis data to customers, design engineers and program management
Plans, hosts and supports Integrated Logistics Support Management Team meetings and logistics test events to validate the system’s design and provide inputs to assessments and reports of these events
Work closely with Logistics / Maintainability, Test and Design engineering.
Create, update and maintain a Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR) database and Reports
Research and write technical content for maintenance technical manuals including installation, test, repair, and troubleshooting procedures utilizing engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and other design documentation for field and depot level repair of military systems.
Review handbooks, technical publications and training materials for technical adequacy.
Candidate will spend majority of time working in a team environment, providing inputs to engineers, performing analyses, and writing reports

Basic Qualifications:
Candidate must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance
Strong technical background
Systems lifecycle management across multiple Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) disciplines.
Knowledge in repair concepts and facility sustainment requirements.
Knowledge of the Army’s Two Level Maintenance Concept in accordance with AR 750-1 and Supportability Analysis in accordance with AR 700-127 or equivalent
Knowledge of MIL-STD-1388-2B, MIL-HDBK-502, MIL-PRF-49506, GEIA-STD-0007.
Ability to conduct Maintenance Planning, predictions, testing and verification in compliance with AR 700-127 or equivalent
Ability to manipulate and analyze computer aided design models using a 3-D viewer
Ability to manage subcontractors in Logistics field of expertise
Ability to develop Logistics Support Analysis Plans and Logistics Support Analysis Style Guides
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build effective working relationships are a must
Ability to present findings to customers and management
Additionally, candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, technical writing experience, and an ability to perform oral presentations in front of large groups
Candidate must be willing to work overtime and travel as needed to support program requirements
Desired Skills:
Active Secret clearance
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree
Missile experience
Experience in Electronic/Electromechanical testing and troubleshooting
Experience in Army’s Two Level Maintenance Concept in accordance with AR 750-1 and conducting Supportability Analysis in accordance with AR 700-127 or equivalent

Experience in Customer Training

Experience conducting diagnostics/testability analysis and conducting testability reviews
Military experience
