Minimum Job Qualifications:

Develop and commercialize products/research. Successfully undertake technical projects.

Participate in the origination of new technologies and low-cost innovations that maintain Schlumberger s technical leadership

position.

Keep abreast of company/site strategy and 3-year-plan.

Prepare cost estimates and continually analyze variables in design.

Build prototypes, products and systems suitable for testing.

Ensure commitments are agreed, reviewed and met. Ensure final product meets the needs as defined by project.

Design testing procedures and coordinate with others to perform tests to verify problems as well as solutions. Conduct tests,

document test results and develop client presentation. Provide technical support to clients and other engineers.

Ensure product center, field and/or customer support.

Coordinate and communicate work effort within Schlumberger and expand external/customer contacts.

Mentor others regarding technical matters.

Identify and keep abreast of novel technical concepts and markets.

Assist in publication of papers and patents

Provide user training for developed products.

Incorporate safe work procedures in all aspects of the job while maintaining a safe work environment.

May direct or assign work of technicians/interns and provide guidance to engineers.

May participate in recruiting.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Performs technical work by applying research and engineering skills and technical knowledge to provide innovative and

cost-effective design and development solutions requiring the development of new or improved research, techniques, procedures,

and/or products. Provides technical support to internal and external clients and other engineers. Plan, conduct, and evaluate

approaches to meet project objectives in a timely fashion.

Reports to Program Manager

Technical understanding in area of engineering expertise, design and drafting competencies.

Knowledge in PLC programming will be an advantage.
