What We’re Looking For:
The
Boot Camp learning
team is looking for a talented and organized
Quality Engineer
who can help drive the success of our
Coding and Cyber
programs online and in the classroom through quality initiatives that support our curriculum teams, students, and instructional staff. The Quality Engineer will oversee bug management, track progress against quality metrics, and drive overall quality initiatives for these programs.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Manage daily flow of bugs and feedback on the products.
Review student feedback.
Review, prioritize, and lead resolution of reported curriculum issues.
Bridge solutions and verifications of defects along with the curriculum engineers
Track and report on key quality metrics, including bug velocity and feedback from students and instructional staff.
Communicate progress to goals with internal and external stakeholders.
Analyze feedback during pilot launches and revisions
Provide analysis and recommendations to the curriculum team.
Develop actionable plans to drive product quality and lead implementation of related initiatives.
Test impact of third-party technology and software updates on curriculum.
Identify solutions to address persistent patterns of feedback that are affecting key metrics.
Manage priority quality review projects on new and/or major revision materials.
Work with the curriculum team and project management to scope work.
Help train and oversee work of assigned quality reviewers.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
At least 1 year of quality assurance experience
At least 1 year of work with computer programming content
Experience with GitHub for managing version control
A self-starter who can quickly understand/develop new processes
A technically savvy person who has a knack for mastering systems and workflows
A problem-solver seeking to identify problems and provide solutions
A strong communicator who values transparency and effective documentation
A planner capable of attention to detail as well as big picture goals/needs
Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, SmartSheet, or similar project management tools
Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
Experience in an educational environment

In Colorado, the anticipated base salary for this role is $65,000, with potential bonus eligibility. Note: The final compensation for this position may consider factors including the geographic location where the work is performed (candidate’s assigned office) and prior work experience of the candidate.
