Distribution Drafter

POWER Engineers, Inc. is seeking a full-time Distribution Drafter for the Power Delivery Distribution Department in our Phoenix, Arizona office.

Roles and Responsibilities

The position will work with electrical engineers and designers to develop utility construction packages from conception through construction.The candidate should be able to work in design teams, be self-motivated to perform assigned tasks, and take initiative to learn new skills. Further, the candidate should be able to learn new software packages efficiently, and retain and apply on the job training.

Required Education/Experience

Associate’s degree in an accredited program, or have sufficient industry experience and the ability to demonstrate comprehension of both software platforms

Must be able to successfully pass client's background screening process

A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Desired Education/Experience

Strong understanding of computer-aided design (CAD) software with emphasis on AutoCAD and MicroStation

Strong written and oral communications skills

Some travel should be expected
