The Commerce View Product team is responsible for creating best-in-class cart and checkout experiences on bestbuy.com and a React Native checkout experience on the mobile app. This team is also responsible for managing an associate-facing experience that allows customers to make invoice payments for purchases supported by In-Home Agents and Blue Shirts.

What you will do as a Digital QA Engineer: Provide expertise in testing and test plan creation.

Write and execute automation test scripts.

Write and execute manual test scenarios.

Efficiently log and track defects in JIRA.

Participate in cross-functional quality efforts for large scale projects and programs, working with other teams in the Commerce space.

Your responsibility for quality starts with requirements and continues through production support.

Basic Qualifications: 6 years of experience in QA / testing responsibilities (e.g. code, manual test, etc.) / web application development and a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years related experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

2 years of experience writing automated test cases using testing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience delivering test suites for JSON-based Web Service APIs.

Multiple years of experience writing and executing manual test scripts.

Experience with UI and front-end testing.

Experience with mobile app testing.

Experience with e-commerce applications.

Experience using analytical thinking to anticipate potential project issues or blockers at the initial phases of the project lifecycle.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
