Senior Acquisition Support Specialist

ENSCO is seeking an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command’s MILSATCOM Program through the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract.  This position, located in El Segundo, CA, will support a diverse set of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.Duties will include:Provide DoD acquisition planning for SATCOM mission acquisition contractsKeep up-to-date with the latest developments in DoD acquisition policyInterface and coordinate with Government program office personnel and other stakeholdersLead and support development of acquisition strategy documentsCreate detailed technical and programmatic acquisition plans to achieve successful DoD milestone decisionsDevelop acquisition documentation, such as Statements of Work, Requests for Proposals, contract attachments, Source Selection Plans, and acquisition schedulesCoordinate and participate in source selection activitiesForm teams and execute acquisition plans leading up to successful contract awardsBS in technical field, such as engineering and computer science Demonstrated understanding of DoD acquisition policies and processes and ability to apply DoD policies to program plans Demonstrated ability to work effectively with DoD customers Strong interpersonal skills, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) 10 years DoD acquisition experience Past experience leading DoD acquisition programs through major milestone decisions AN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITON, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN.MS degree Certifications in DoD acquisition Space acquisition experience MILSATCOM experience Systems engineering experienceCurrent TS/SCI clearance #LI-TL1ENSCO has been delivering engineering, science, and advanced technology solutions to complex priority programs since 1969.ENSCO operates in the aerospace, avionics, national security, rail, and cyber sectors.
