Job Description
Responsibilities
Evaluate issues with important biomedical equipment
Carry out vital repairs and preventative maintenance
Conduct safety/environmental inspections to support our customers’ ability to deliver exceptional healthcare services
Follow company policies, procedures and hospital protocols to ensure all regulatory and compliance requirements are met
Complete all appropriate documentation detailing the work you’ve performed
Maintain strong relationships and frequent communications with customers to ensure issues are resolved and follow-up services provided to their total satisfaction
Identify and report all customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization to ensure services are provided with the highest ethical standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
OR an equivalent military education
OR a track record of participating in the formal GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship program
OR a High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment
Strong knowledge of electronic digital circuitry
A good understanding of electronic and electro-mechanical devices
Experience of interpreting schematic diagrams
Willingness to be available to work after-hours and/or on a rotating on-call schedule, including weekends
Ability to lift/move up to 35lbs.
