Description

The Senior DevOps Engineer Enables the automation of software code deployment by eliminating functional silos existing between development and production. The Senior DevOps Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Responsibilities

Humana is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer that:

Promotes flexible collaboration and communication between development, security, compliance, testing, monitoring and production teams.

Optimizes the release process by leading teams to identify gaps and eliminate barriers to enable increased frequency of accurate code deployment.

Begins to influence department's strategy.

Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction.

Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Help manage production deployments within the various Cloud and On Prem environments.

Help automate the prod release steps by developing the Devops Pipelines.

Provide cloud governance, processes and technical advisory support to dev teams and projects by working cross-functionally and provide recommendations that support the process automation.

Will be responsible for Mentor the Operations organization and less experienced technical staff.

Will have sound knowledge and understanding of the Azure Devops, cloud deployments with IaaC ( Infrastructure as a code) preferably terraform

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field

5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree
