The Range Network Systems Engineering & Integration (RN SE&I) contract provides Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support to the USSF Space Systems Command (SSC) Enterprise Corps (EC). EC acquires services to modernize and sustain the Satellite Control Network (SCN), the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS), and the Space Training Acquisition Office (STAO). We are seeking a Staff Systems Engineer with experience in engineering support, project management, and program planning for the RN SE&I contract to support the SCN government team.Duties will include: Providing Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) support for satellite communications network systems including Telemetry, Tracking & Control (TT&C), scheduling, communications, and associated systems.Perform engineering of system architectures, requirements analysis and decomposition, including system performance test and verification.Perform engineering analyses to predict and define problems, define/design actionable corrective measures, and operational implementation of SCN systems.Prepare and review test plans and test reports, analytical evaluation of systems’ compatibility, and development of requirements.Review and assess contractor designs and conduct trade studies on alternative system design approaches.Participate or lead technical meetings and government-led studies, assess technical baselines and ensure system modifications meet requirementsBachelor's Degree or equivalent and minimum 10 years of relevant experience.Knowledge and background with architecture, systems and subsystem requirements, systems engineering processes, and development and maintenance of CONOPS.Technical skills to understand and analyze system problems, define potential solutions, and conduct in-depth technical analysis, assessments and trades and explain results of technical studies in a systems engineering context.Demonstrates understanding of performance and requirements analysis techniques, and acceptance testing strategies/methodologies.Ability to lead technical teams in identifying customer needs.Experience with engineering tools such as DOORS, MATLAB, Sharepoint, and Project.ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN. Masters or PhDWorking knowledge of the Satellite Control Network (SCN) or similar DoD programCurrent Secret or higher clearance.#LI-AH1The Aerospace Sciences and Engineering (ASE) Division is based in Cocoa Beach, Fla., with facilities and capabilities in Colorado Springs, Colo., El Segundo, Calif., and Orcutt, Calif. ASE’s primary focus is aerospace engineering, cyber security and meteorological systems. ASE is the prime contractor to the U.S. Space Force, providing Systems Engineering & Integration of the Launch Safety infrastructure, the Satellite Control Network and the Standard Space Trainer.ENSCO’s aerospace engineering efforts support launch range activities throughout the U.S. ASE employees are developing the Range of the future and evaluating highly technical systems for critical launch operations, including range instrumentation, safety and communications.
