In your role, you will:
•Adhere to General Work Requirements
•Manage PLM projects from initial concepts to implementation
•Develop and update Aircraft engineering / methods schedule aligning with A/C scheduled projects to support on-time delivery.
•Understand & document business problems & translate into project requirements.
•Monitor the efficiency metrics for adherence to established standards and targets for the engineering / methods teams.
•Coordinate the technical assessments/Engineering solutions on projects using the Salesforce web application.
•Champion the Product Life Cycle Management Process for Manufacturing & work on integrating PLM software tools (SAP, CATIA, Maximo and Team Center) to optimize its applications
•Work as a liaison between the Operations and core Engineering / methods team.
•Apply Advance Quality Planning (AQP) principles to perform Failure Mode Effective Analysis
•Able to work with AMO & procurement to identify materials / parts for long lead times as well as make or build determination.
•Must have Corporate interior modification experience.
•Needs to be knowledgeable of certification pathways and executions
•Proficient in Microsoft project.
•Develop and apply time standards to help set BAS Network planning standards and provide manpower estimates and sequences to optimize resources
•Implement visual management systems to show progress and status of Aircraft Modification projects.
•Liaise with the core Methods Information Systems Engineering team and manage onsite presence with their applications.
•Analyze and report on site's performance with regards to company governance requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
As our ideal candidate,
•You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Aerospace Industry
•You have a Bachelors / 4-year Engineering degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Aerospace engineering.
•You can demonstrate knowledge and implementation of Aircraft Engineering procedures and processes.
•You have strong internal and external problem-solving skills and team facilitation skills
•You can demonstrate sound judgment, integrity and cooperative attitude towards facility optimization.
•You have created, mapped and maintained Aircraft engineering / methods schedule aligning with A/C RTS schedules.
•You have previous experience in Product life cycle management applications in Aerospace Industry - SAP, CATIA/ENOVIA, Teamcenter, Maximo and other relevant Product Data Management applications.
