What is the Role?

Contribute to the delivery of Gross Margin and Economic Profit results related to delivered energy supply and solutions in the North American market.

Seek out and obtain valuable relationships for Shell Energy, that spans mainly RNG but also gas, power and environmental products markets

Individual will be responsible for leading cross-functional deal teams in closing commercial transactions.

Own front-line responsibility for sales and marketing of origination products.

Individual will be responsible for leading negotiations of complex agreements.

Successfully add value to regional and national projects.

Work with Low Carbon Fuels team and Regional and Global Account Management teams to assure maximum enterprise value.

Ability to develop and lead strategic growth for the RNG business within broader Shell context.

What We Need from You?

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or other relevant field of study required, MBA preferred.

10 years of direct commercial work experience in the RNG markets in the U.S. is preferred with a proven history of executing successful transactions or supporting major transactions with customers in the commercial & industrial and wholesale space.

Ability to bring in a set of client contacts and opportunities in the supply and sale side of the RNG business.

Proven experience in developing client relationships at senior levels.

Proven success developing wholesale origination transactions across the RNG value chain

Expert level in RNG regulatory environment (LCFS/RIN,EPA and CARB pathways, credit generation)

Knowledge level or better competence in understanding of models/structures for RNG origination products.

Must be self-motivated and be capable of setting and executing strategy to accomplish given goals.

Some travel required to interface with customers.
