Job Functions

Overall responsibility will be to work with each of the multidisciplinary teams, automation upgrade and process visualization systems; supervise electrical activities, training, and trouble-shooting electrical issues, including PLC or networks related. Utilize and improve current technology to provide continuous improvement to all maintenance and operation’s effectiveness. Provide support, planning, direction and supervision to electrical team members. Program responsibility to include executing preventative/predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and equipment overhauls and upgrades as it pertains to the plant electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Transformation

Improve data content on actual applications based on plant requirements

Train team members on the capabilities of digital tools implemented

Technical lead

Provide technical support for maintenance team during assigned shift and on call support off shifts as required leading troubleshooting

Support root cause analysis with process data

Supervise electrical and control work performed by contractors and electricians

Coordinate with other departments to resolve electrical issues

Implement disaster recovery plan for critical equipment

Support to engineering projects

IL6S

Responsible of planning and follow up of electrical activities

Ensure execution of preventive maintenance schedules for electrical distribution system, control equipment and instrumentation using CMMS

Ensure execution of maintenance and inspection plans to ensure reliability, sustainability and security of electrical distribution infrastructure using CMMS

Qualifications

Experience on Food industry experience. Preferable in Mondelēz projects.

Proficient troubleshooting skills

Proficiency in working

PLC’s Allen-Bradley all families

VFDs Allen-Bradley and Toshiba

HMI’s Allen-Bradley

Industrial communication networks; Ethernet, DH , RIO & ControlNet

Understanding of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and server/client system

Experience with industrial power & control circuits

Experience with industrial instrumentation

Ability to read and understand schematics and electrical drawings.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision and function effectively in a highly demanding environment.

Ability to interact effectively with outside vendors, production operators, team leads, and the maintenance trades.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechatronic / Electronic)

Maintenance background strongly preferred

Technical supervision experience

Electrical license is preferred

Special Requirements

Spanish / English conversational

Ability to work any shift and overtime.

On call for consultation during other shifts.
