You are invited to submit an application to be included in the general pool of candidates from which part time faculty will be selected for the 2020 academic terms (as needed).  Appointments are renewed based on departmental need and teaching experience.  Classes may be day or evening.  Rank and compensation are based on experience and academic credentials. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:  PhD in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field,  along with significant experience in areas such as cosmetic formulation science, science of bio-substrates, clinical, consumer, and safety assessment of cosmetic products, and regulatory and toxicology aspects of cosmetic ingredients. In specialized fields of cosmetic science, BS or MS with significant industrial experience accompanied by a strong record of publications, patents or experience in teaching will also be considered. Individuals should have in-depth understanding of physicochemical principles that facilitate the creation, testing and evaluation of cosmetic products. 

 

Preference will be given to individuals with significant experience including industrial experience in the above areas.
