ENSCO is seeking an innovative, creative, and highly motivated individual to support the U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command’s MILSATCOM Program through the MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (MSEIT) contract. This position, located at Peterson SFB, CO, will support a diverse set of strategic and tactical MILSATCOM systems and infrastructure in a multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.Duties will include:Provide government customer with systems engineering advisory assistance, including daily engineering consultation in support of MILSATCOM system sustainment activitiesSupport integrated logistics and sustainment tasks, including maintenance planning, requirements development and tracing, engineering design and analysis, and performance predictionsEvaluate and produce products of a technical nature using technical rigor, adequacy, completeness, and appropriate application of the specialty engineering disciplines as standard processAssist with technology readiness assessments; identify risks and issues with proposed technologiesSupport waiver, deviation and deficiency reviews, system allocations, and compliance assessmentsSupport systems engineering requirements analysis activities and derive logistics design constraintsAssess and select/tailor logistics related standards and assist in defining logistics requirements and determining solutions in the trade space of available logistics elementsProvide technical input in development of training systems, manuals and materials, reliability centered maintenance concepts, and level of repair analysesConduct systems engineering trade activities and ensure integrated logistic support factors are appliedAssist in development of performance-based logistics as a strategy for cost-effective system supportBachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited institution; will consider other Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) degrees from accredited institutions2 years of related experienceMust be able to demonstrate engineering principles and conceptsExpertise with requirements development and analysis, and the development of systems engineering-related documents including requirements/specifications, interface control documents, and validation & verification plansSolid analytical and problem solving skills; able to sort through complex issues and develop clear solutions, provide in-depth technical assessments and identify issues and risksEffective interpersonal and team player skills in order to engage at both the peer and management levelsAbility to coordinate with numerous stakeholders/customers from DoD agencies to commercial industryProficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)Clear and concise written, verbal communications and presentation skills; able to clearly articulate ideas, recommendations and options to the customerHighly-organized individual, capable of handling multiple competing priorities; able to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a dynamic environmentAN ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITON, FOR WHICH YOU MUST BE A US CITIZEN.
