Under the supervision of the General foreman – Utilities and construction, you will be responsible of analysing, designing, and implementing maintenance strategies in order to increase the availability of equipment and to ensure their integrity. Your primary duties will be:
Analyze repetitive breakdowns, root causes and failure modes to propose corrective measures and eliminate them. Then adjust maintenance plans.
Ensure compliance of regulated equipment such as fire systems, lifting equipment, elevators, pressurized systems, water treatment, etc. Ensuring certification and obtaining permits, as well as managing modifications.
Manage and monitor petroleum installations, ensure that regulated maintenance is carried out and obtain permits.
Monitor capital projects and operations, ensuring compliance, proper operation, and documentation.
Optimize the use of human and material resources in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Your profile:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance of building services equipment in an industrial environment.
Experience in one or more of the following types of equipment: petroleum installations, ventilation, fire detection and protection systems, overhead cranes, residential and industrial buildings, drinking water and/or wastewater treatment.
Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
You demonstrate good communication skills (written and verbal), good judgment, a sense of responsibility, as well as a great capacity for analysis, synthesis and decision making.
Leadership, communication skills, good sense of responsibility and analysis.
Mastery of Microsoft Office, SAP and AutoCAD software.
You have a valid driver's license.
Work conditions:
Work shifts of 11 hours per day.
Rotation schedule of 2/2: equivalent to 2 consecutive weeks of work followed by 2 weeks of leave.
Private air transport is provided from Montreal, Quebec, Rouyn-Noranda, Mont-Joli or Inuit communities (depending on place of residence) to the mine site and return.
