We're looking for a Senior End User Experience Design Engineer to join our team that is passionate about creating and refining user experiences in the Healthcare space that will serve both our members and associates and drive positive business outcomes. In this role you will have opportunity to partner closely with our product teams and talented software engineers to understand and advocate for the user.

Responsibilities

Our Product Designers generally have a minimum of 3-5 years of Product Design experience across a wide range of digital experiences (web, mobile, embedded technology, and platforms) and are comfortable with leading design from concept to delivery. They have a growth mindset, are comfortable working on cross-functional teams of Product Managers, Tech Leads and stakeholders, to identify problems and design solutions in a human- centered way.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5 or more years of Interface experience as a User Designer, Interaction Designer, Information Architect, or User Experience Designer/Architect
demonstrated ability to strategically create compelling user experiences that factor in business goals, development capabilities, design standards and user needs
Strong understanding of interaction design principles and current global UI/design pattern standards
Demonstrated ability to work with and influence stakeholders to determine business strategy in the digital arena, develop and execute big ideas while maintaining collaborative working relationships.
Experience designing with business, technical and design guideline constraints
Experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously
Demonstrated experience in defining research criteria, leading or participating in user research, and translating user research into design decisions
Experience creating interactive prototypes
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences


Preferred Qualifications


Ability to be flexible in a very fluid and dynamic environment
Must be extremely well-organized and capable of handling multiple (and sometimes conflicting) priorities effectively
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills


Additional Information

Will report to Associate Director, Software Engineering, IT HCS - Pharmacy Development and Support

Associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.

Provide proof of applicable exemption including any required supporting documentation
