Environmental Inspection Services – investigating stormwater pollution prevention measures and other environmental compliance obligations, helping customers stay compliant. Program and Project Management – proactively coordinating work and making decisions on behalf of Clients to drive projects towards successful adherence to scope, schedule, and budget–increasing efficiency, transparency, and enabling our clients to make better project decisions. Project Controls – providing advanced budget and scheduling capabilities to increase project intelligence, facilitate decision making, and drive efficiencies.Material Management & Expediting – ensuring costly materials are safely delivered on time and within budget and quality standards. HumCap's client is a veteran-owned, Texas-based company. Their typical clients are power delivery utilities, renewable power generators, power storage owners/developers, and large load facilities. Role Description: The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of our client’s and internal project(s) to include development and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. This role will require a deep commitment to our core values due to complex challenges, different personalities, and multiple parties involved in our projects. The Project Manager must ensure client success while seeking Company profitability goals. Duties:Lead the Project Team through planning and execution of assigned projects. Develop clear project scope by coordinating efforts between the planning group, operations team, construction managers, and engineers. Coordinate a resource plan to ensure that engineering, procurement, and construction efforts efficiently accomplish the required scope. Develop and adhere to a detailed project schedule and budget and maintain the schedule and budget through project closeout. This includes evaluating vendor schedules and budgets, then consolidating that information with other vendor schedule and budget to produce a master schedule and budget per project. Evaluate and propose risk mitigation for the project team. Coordinate internal and external personnel to ensure that engineering, procurement, and construction efforts adhere to scope expectations and maintain the schedule. Process and assist others in processing request documents for project approval, purchase orders, work orders, and others as necessary to complete the project. Provide forward-looking plans to help the Project Team accomplish multiple projects simultaneously and identify potential problems before impacting the projects. Coordinate with the Project Team to solve problems as they arise and provide solutions to management. Approve invoices for work performed by contractors associated with the project. Work on-site, as needed, to support the construction management staff and contractors. Advise the client and company leadership on constructability, schedule, and budgetary concerns for projects throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all aspects of the projects are executed, documented, and reported in accordance with Company policies, compliance requirements, regulations, and laws. Provide ongoing project status reports throughout the project lifecycle. Provide supervision of employees and contractors as assigned. Monitor and report on internal project profitability. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Requirements: 5 years of experience in the areas of engineering, construction, and/or project management for transmission lines, substations, distribution, wind, solar, or battery storage fields. A minimum of 2 years of supervisor/management experience. Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong decision-making and leadership skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs. Must be fluent in the English language.Valid driver’s license and good driving record.Project Management Professional certification is a plus. Must also have the following demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to identify and resolve risks for the project and, most importantly, for the Safety of personnel Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy is critical Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and training skills are essential while holding others accountable Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communications Highly motivated, positive attitude, disciplined, self-directed Work within and strive to maintain a workplace environment consistent with Principle Services’ Core Values (Integrity, Grit, Innovation, Agility, and Respect).Must be able to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and handle pressure;The successful individual will be a mature self-starter, service-oriented, and be professional in conduct, attitude and appearance;Must be able to resolve conflict without it escalating.
