Mechanical Engineer needed to create a retractable dog leash
We are looking for a creative and innovative Mechanical Engineer to develop the mechanics of a retractable dog leash we are creating.
DELIVERABLE
- Develop mechanical internal layout and proof of principle prototypes based on our design concept and requirements.
- Develop layouts in 3D CAD to a high enough fidelity and build where form models can be 3D printed for usability testing and evaluation.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge of power/flat springs
- Working knowledge of retracting mechanics
- Dog owner or have used a retractable dog leash preferred but not required.
