**Job Description Summary**
The position will be responsible for contributing to the Chemistry Evaluations function within the Chemistry Engineering group. In this role you will be responsible for the scoping and delivering of major and complex assignments supporting the development, delivery, and defense of BWR chemistry products and services.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
Provide technical support with a team of Engineers and Chemists in support of development, delivery, and defense of products related to BWR Chemistry
Interface with internal and external customers on the resolution of technical issues related to BWR chemistry
Support the development of scopes and staffing plans for chemistry evaluation projects, which may include laboratory testing, in-plant demonstration, and in-plant delivery / implementation Interface with technical members of industry groups as needed to collaborate on areas of BWR chemistry
Oversee the operation of high temperature high pressure laboratory testing loops
Oversee the operation of analytical chemistry laboratory and equipment
Contribute to the overall business chemistry services strategy and development of new product or services
Perform technical evaluations, analyses and verifications in the area of BWR Chemistry
Perform work in compliance with NRC regulated policies and procedures
Communicate progress to all levels of the organization
Mentor and develop less experienced personnel
**Required Qualifications**
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
At least 8 years of experience in an engineering capacity
Relocation to Sunol, CA is required.
**Desired Characteristics**
Experience in Nuclear Industry
Experience working with radioactive material in radiologically controlled areas
Knowledge of BWR chemistry issues
Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization as well as internal and external customers
Experience providing technical leadership to Scientists, Chemist and Engineers working in a technical or laboratory environment
Familiarity with BWR plant systems
Demonstrated high energy and the ability to energize others
Demonstrated legacy of high integrity and positive representative of GEH within and outside the company
Legacy of delivering on commitments; tenacious, with a proven track record of overcoming obstacles; ability to achieve stretch targets
Strong external focus; clear and demonstrated understanding of nuclear industry and/or energy industry with occasional travel to customer sites
Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
