Description
The Full Stack Engineer 2 Performs software engineering activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the appearance at the front-end. The Full Stack Engineer 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

In this role, you will directly work with key client stakeholders to define the business problem and determine solution requirements for our Medicare Actuarial (Pricing, Trending, Forecasting) Platform. You will be responsible for ensuring business value and communicating outcomes. You'll be part of a dynamic agile team to architect, implement, test and continuously deliver new features and products to our customers.
The Full Stack Engineer 2 Is involved in all stages of software development, including front-end development, back-end development, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, andrequires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Responsibilities:
Full Stack Engineer - .NET will be assigned to the Senior Products Actuarial IT Team.
Partner with Leads, Architects, Technology leaders, Security Advocate, and other associates to understand solution architecture, and programming specifications.
Design, develop, implement, configure, install, and integrate systems and applications that utilize Microsoft .NET and related technologies under the direction of Technology Leader / Architect.
Provide ongoing enhancements, software support and issue resolution including security, and performance.
Coordinate with testers to ensure understanding of the application and features and for timely defect resolution.
Develop enhancements, resolve issues, and coordinate testing of software releases
Ensure the source code written is up to the quality standards that are enforced and its integrity is maintained in test and production systems at all times.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or any STEM field of study
3-5 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer/Engineer in in systems analysis and/or application programming development utilizing .NET and related technologies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across varying levels of personnel
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem solving environment
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in the relevant field
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Powershell
Exposure to Agile SCRM process
