Cannot connect my Laptop to a Hotspot

Cannot connect my Laptop to a Hotspot
I Cannot connect any Windows 10 Laptop to an iPhone or Android Hotspot. The iPhone or Android Hot Spot name does not show up in available WiFi network list.
The Hotspot is OK as I can connect another mobile device such as an iPad or tablet to it. The 2 Windows 10 Laptops I am trying are OK (Dell and Lenovo) because I can Connect them to various other WiFi APs
Need someone to fix this for me.
