Position Overview
Seeking a hands-on full stack software engineer to help design, build and maintain C360 application which provide appraisal management software solution in Commercial Real Estate.
An ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of languages, with the ability to start a project from the ground up PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL or a similar language. Laravel framework knowledge is a big plus.
In this role, you will be required to design, write, and maintain code base for different microservices components. You will also be required to contribute to design and planning sessions as well as formulate approaches for current coding tasks.
Beyond technical proficiency, a candidate also needs strong interpersonal and communication skills. This position is expected to interact with both technical and non-technical audiences, to mentor team members in new technologies and paradigms, and to contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes across **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***..
What you will do and achieve:
The Software Engineer - You are responsible for developing and supporting existing/new applications.
Participate in team activities such as design sessions, code reviews and sprint ceremonies.
Maintain systems by identifying and correcting Software defects
Has extensive experience in integrating third party APIs
Can work with minimal supervision, but able to communicate and reach out to appropriate contacts when necessary for questions/training
Ensure that systems are manageable, maintainable, reliable, scalable and secure, designing best practices
Collaborate with managers of Lender platform engineering teams to ensure that systems are built as designed and interoperate effectively.
Serve as a mentor for engineers across the business.
Adhere to best practices around versioning, automated testing, dependency management, system reliability, auto-scaling etc.
Investigate and resolve technical and non-technical issues, resolving critical incidents in a timely manner and with a thorough root cause analysis.

Who you are:
Education
B.S. in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Experience
5 or more years of experience in software engineering including design, coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and source management
Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, jQuery
Ability to write and maintain HTML/CSS/JS.
A solid understanding of application design using Laravel
Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL
Performing unit testing and managing APIs such as REST
Experience in integrating Third Party APIs
Experience with code review and evaluation
Good at understanding requirements and estimation
Good team player, have ability and willingness to mentor junior developers
Have passion for learning new technologies and enhancing existing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter that can work well in a team environment
Proactive issue resolution with a positive attitude
Ability to adapt and respond in a rapidly evolving business environment
Understands solution at the project level
