Systems Engineering
At Deloitte Consulting, LLC, our Systems Engineering specialists help clients manage the complexity inherent with technology change, from requirements planning to architecture, testing, to deployment and beyond – we help them link their IT programs to organizational goals. We offer a complete range of industry-leading services, including systems design and engineering, application architecture, integration services, custom development, application modernization, and service delivery optimization.
Work You’ll Do
Designing, implementing, and operating solutions for custom-developed systems, platform integration, and application modernization to enable core business capabilities. Participating in various aspects of the full software development lifecycle for software applications, which may including requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Evaluating clients’ technology needs, developing customized applications and draft technical and functional design documentation. Identifying and mitigating risks in process and technology for client engagements. Developing dashboard wireframes and designing requirements based on discussion with an understanding of technical and visual design considerations. Writing Structured Query Language (SQL) queries to troubleshoot current system problems and providing stats for system requirements gathering tasks. Writing queries to provide data analytics regarding data in the database patterns, count of records, count of operations, upper and lower limits, and most performed operations. Developing web application automation testing tools using selenium, Java, HTML, JavaScript, Cucumber, XML, Junit, Web Services and SQL. Performing all testing related tasks in status reporting, test planning and test reporting. Administrating the continued integration servers and builds using Maven and Jenkins. Assisting in directing full cycle cross-functional projects, encompassing systems development and process automation projects. Writing Java and Cucumber codes to test system permissions matrix.
As a Senior Manager,
you will lead and deliver large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for large companies. You will contribute to the firm's growth and development in a variety of ways including:
Engagement Management:
Lead engagement planning and budgeting; mobilize and manage engagement teams; define deliverable structure and content; facilitate buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client; direct on-time, quality delivery of work products; manage engagement economics; manage engagement risk.
Relationship Management of executive clients and sponsors:
Participate in Business Development, develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients, organize and lead pursuit teams, participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process, contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
Practice Development & Eminence:
Develop practical solutions and methodologies, develop thoughtware and point- of-view documents, participate in public speaking events, get published in industry periodicals.
People Development:
Perform the role of counselor and coach, provide input and guidance into the staffing process, actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities, provide leadership and support for delivery teams and staff in local offices.
Qualifications
Required:
6 years of relevant consulting or restaurants and food and beverage
industry experience managing and delivering systems
6 years of Systems Integration, Dev Ops, Agile, Cloud
experience
6 years systems development, solution and platform integration
experience
6 years planning and managing project initiatives in a Project Management Office or similar team environment
