Description: Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control is seeking a Sustainment Project Engineer IPT Lead to work in the Lower Tier Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) program area in Arlington, TX.
This position will serve as the IPT Lead for Field Operations contract efforts for Lower Tier IAMD Sustainment Operations and is responsible for ensuring
the management of contract and program efforts as defined by the program managers.
Candidate will be required to develop and present status to program management.
Position will support all cost, quality, and schedule performance for multiple concurrent Sustainment Operations task orders/contracts. The successful candidate will directly support the Program Manager as a representative of the Sustainment Operations Program Office. The selected candidate will also work closely with the Program Manager related to managing integrated master schedules, contract deliverables, risk & opportunity, and program performance metrics. This position will develop close working relationships with all Control Account Managers, functional leadership, Technical Operations Center personnel. Maintain and cultivate relationships with customer counterparts and international partners, to foster sharing of best practices and identification of contract/program risks stemming from potential impacts to the technical, schedule and cost performance.
• Work closely with Sustainment Operations Field Operations Program Manager to ensure execution of contractual requirements; on schedule and within cost targets
• Responsible for interfacing between the Program Office and Functional teams to achieve program goals
• Making recommendations to Program Manager for cost, quality, and schedule
• Coordinate with the customer and internal IPT to establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems and obtain solutions
• Participate in the development of cost estimates that are complete and executable
• Maintain an awareness of all open issues and delivery constraints
• Ensure that Sustainment Operations interests are represented in all risk assessments (to include production risk assessments) that deal with field risk
• Coordinate with the appropriate PAC-3 Production program teams to ensure the Sustainment Operations programs are being adequately represented related to issues and risk analyses
• Understand and communicate issues to the program and customer, identify and drive solutions, and communicate impact on program performance and commitments

- Candidate must have or be able to obtain a Secret clearance

- Experience reading SOWs and determining program requirements across all functions.

- Ability to interface and work well with multiple functional areas (i.e. sourcing, receiving, shipping, engineering, quality, contracts, program office and external customers)
