Description
The Senior DevOps Engineer Enables the automation of software code deployment by eliminating functional silos existing between development and production. The Senior DevOps Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior DevOps Engineer Promotes flexible collaboration and communication between development, security, compliance, testing, monitoring and production teams. Optimizes the release process by leading teams to identify gaps and eliminate barriers to enable increased frequency of accurate code deployment. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Skills:
Experience with software versioning, Git experience strongly preferred
Experience with Continuous Integration Pipelines, Azure Pipelines, Octopus [Required]
Experience with build servers - Jenkins, TeamCity
Scripting experience in Powershell
Configuration Files and Configuration File Transforms
Experience with IIs
Experience in C#
Preferred Skills:
Experience in networking in cloud environment
Experience in networking in non-cloud environment
Experience with security rules and policies
Experience with load balancers [F5, Azure, AWS, Google, Varnash, HaProxy]
Experience with traffic management and/or proxies
Experience with Terraform and/or ARM Templates
Experience with Redhat Openshift, Kubernetes or similar Docker Containerization management
Nice to have experience with Imperva, Ibm datapower, Redhat 3scale or other similar technologies
Experience with Key certificate stores
Experience with General Security practices, and/or SonarCube, CheckMarx or Rapid 7 security tools
Experience with JFrog
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Android and Apple Mobile Device Management
Android and Apple Mobile Pipeline Management
Google PlayStore and Apple Store Management
Additional Information
Associates are required to be fully COVID vaccinated, including booster, or undergo weekly COVID testing and wear a face covering while at work. The weekly testing will need to be done through an approved Humana vendor, and unvaccinated associates should follow all social distancing and masking protocols if they are required to come into a Humana facility or work outside of their home.

Work-At-Home Requirements
WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
Satellite and Wireless Internet service is NOT allowed for this role.
A dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.
