**Job Description Summary**
The Reactor Services Design Engineering Manager will lead the technical team responsible for BWR reactor internals hardware design and the associated install tooling design/qualification in support of the services business. This Engineering Manager will be responsible for the team that will provide assessments of reactor internal component as-inspected conditions as well as innovative and practical repair and replacement solutions that ensure high quality deliverables.

**Essential Responsibilities:**
Provide leadership to a diverse technical team responsible for the performance and the program management of assigned work
Plan, organize and manage delivery of technical tasks, development projects and customer support work
Support the development of individual team members in both technical and leadership growth
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to deliver project deliverables in a multi-functional engineering environment
Establish and maintain strong working relationship with other Engineering team technical disciplines
Provide Technical direction to prepare and maintain system design documents related to analyses, calculations and technical evaluations.
Provide on-time, quality delivery of equipment packages and engineering documentation in accordance with contract requirements, business procedures, and regulatory agency guidelines
Provide guidance to ensure product designs meet all intended application and modification design requirements by working with experts in other functional teams
Support US and international plant project licensing / certification activities
Interface with internal and external customers, the NRC or other applicable country specific regulatory agency, as required on technical issues
Support commercial and marketing opportunities
Support GEH Nuclear Energy quality requirements, including participation in design reviews, initiating and responding to Corrective Actions
**Basic Qualifications:**
Bachelors degree in a Technical or Science discipline
Minimum of 8 years of Boiling Water Reactor/Pressurized Water Reactor work experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a program or technical leadership role
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with customers, regulators, and suppliers
**Relocation to Wilmington, NC is required** once site reopens (site currently closed due to COVID-19)
**Desired Quali** **fications:**
Master of Science in Engineering
Senior Reactor Operator license
Demonstrated project management skills, including cost and schedule control. Professional Project Management Certification.
Demonstrated ability to establish a vision and direction for an organization
Proven ability to think strategically, be creative and move quickly
Demonstrated ability to lead a team with multiple demands and priorities
Process oriented with ability to facilitate continuous performance improvement
Open communication style and proven ability to develop team relationships
The salary range for this position is $124k-170k. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus.
