The Marketing Decision Science team serves the Marketing organization and vendor partners by providing analytics solutions and insight into marketing strategy and performance. We proactively address key business questions, de-risk decision-making, and measure and optimize media effectiveness. You will be part of a team that develops and leads these Decision Science and Analytics services in the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence.
As an analytical thinker with strong technical experience, the Associate
Decision Scientist and Marketing Analyst
will support critical campaign analytics and insights capabilities. The successful candidate will take ownership, develop understanding, and put together solutions for complex business problems. This position includes responsibilities such as supporting complex marketing analysis and insights, in partnership with multiple cross-functional business. This person is an avid learner who will bring new ideas to improve upon existing business processes, execute with utmost attention to detail and consistency, an interest in reporting development and be driven by supporting business insights.
Key Responsibilities
Support cross-functional business partners by performing ad hoc analysis utilizing existing marketing measurement capabilities, including Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA), and campaign measurement.
Provide data driven insights to influence Marketing strategies.
Perform operational tasks: design and review quality assurance checks, reporting and forecasting, in support of marketing measurement and analysis
Design and develop ad hoc queries and reports, as needed.
Contribute to solution design and vision for automated technical processes.
Leads investigation into and rapid resolution of data quality discrepancies and data validation.
Maintain and improve existing data analysis tools and reports.
Basic Requirements:
2 years or more experience in marketing analytics, retail, or related area
2 years or more experience applying analytical techniques to answer business questions or scientific questions
2 years or more experience programming in SAS, SQL, Python, R, Tableau, and/or Power BI
1 year or more experience developing insights from data
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Marketing or Media Analytics tied to Digital Advertising
Experience working in a structured database environment for analytical purposes
Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, the physical sciences, computer science, or similar field with quantitative rigor
