SUMMARY OF ROLE:
This is a key role in the IT Organization to provide SAP software engineering and support spanning all regions and businesses. It will involve a lot of communication, coordination and facilitation. The role will require the individual to liaise with both functional and technical IT teams to build and maintain SAP system landscapes that support the K-C businesses globally. Experience in a previous SAP software and technology support position would be highly desirable.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Deliver world class software architecture, installation, upgrade and maintenance services supporting a complex, global enterprise SAP installation. Effectively organize and utilize department and business resources, and manage projects congruent with cost guidelines and Corporate Financial Instructions. Maintain and support the tools, processes and procedures for complying with established development, security and internal governance policies and standards. Ensure that system strategies and architectures are within regulatory compliance. Maintain subject matter expertise in several SAP competencies. Own the documentation and procedures for these areas and share them with the rest of the team. Address any system disruptions on an urgent basis, restoring service as quickly as possible. Use proven problem management practices to identify root cause and implement system and/or procedure changes to prevent reoccurrence. Experience with HANA, S/4HANA is an accentuator.
Familiar about SAP Environment setup on Cloud host Good understanding of performance optimization standards and troubleshooting Proven experience performing technical upgrades / support packages / enhancement packages of complex ERP and other SAP product landscapes.
Leadership:
This role will drive a global organization that will have global and local responsibilities across regions. While not having direct reporting from an HR perspective, the incumbent must provide direction to a technical working group. This will include to motivate and encourage the participants to be actively engaged and ensure the timeliness of the deliverables and the acceptance of accountability for the system software they are custodians over.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education required/ preferred:
Bachelors degree in a related field
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
Global capability delivery experience with S/4 HANA, SAP ERP, SCM, EWM, Solution Manager, BTP, Business Warehouse and Process Integration.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Linux, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and HANA.
Strong knowledge of operational management software including job scheduling, technical and business process monitoring, incident / problem management and identity management.
Demonstrated track record of success in delivering new SAP system installations, major upgrades, support packages, kernel upgrades, security fixes, parameter changes and overall system performance analysis.
Experience leading large projects.
Ability to translate complex technical topics into easy to understand concepts
Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory
High motivation to learn new technologies and methodologies (e.g. Scrum, In memory computing, Artificial Intelligence, APIs, etc.)
Skills/Competencies:
Coordination: Responsible for bridging the gap between technical and functional delivery teams. Must be familiar with the concepts of SAP system configuration to meet business needs as well as the operational aspects such as database administration, disaster recovery, high availability, security vulnerabilities and other technical requirements.
Flexibility: The incumbent will occasionally provide project and system support outside of typical working hours to minimize disruption to the business.
Operations: Responsisble for the consistent operation of a secure and stable platform for major business process including Finance, HR, Sales, Manufacturing and Analytics. Provide key technical leadership for small maintenance and functionality updates as well as major system upgrades.
Continuous Improvement: Identify where potential issues may arise so they may be addressed in a proactive manner. Introduce ways to streamline existing procedures, eliminate unnecessary work or automate manual processes.

Role will report to a Manager in the IT Application Solutions organization. Role will not have any direct reports.

Business-based data stewards and local business resources
ITS Leadership including the Enterprise Architecture team
External Interfaces:
Strategic executive leadership with key SAP software delivery partners
Senior leadership with Strategy and Research organizations
Professional associations and speaking at major conferences
WORKING CONDITIONS: Travel may include approximately 15% of work time.
Travel may include travel via aircrafts and motor vehicles to various locations, if applicable.
