Description
The Senior Software Engineer codes software applications based on business requirements. The Senior Software Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

In this role, you will directly work with key client stakeholders to define the business problem and determine solution requirements for our Medicare/Medicaid Product and Pricing Platforms. You will be responsible for ensuring business value and communicating outcomes. You'll be part of a dynamic agile team to architect, implement, test and continuously deliver new features and products to our customers.
The Senior Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed with minimal direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field or in any of the STEM branches or equivalent work experience
5 or more years of full SDLC experience with open systems (Java or .NET) software applications and/or infrastructure in a large IT Organization.
Proven experience with large enterprise class solutions that utilize n-tier architecture such as Oracle ERP Apps, RDBMS (SQL/NoSQL), User Interfaces, SOA/APIs, Microservices, etc.
At least 1 year of hands on application design / development/ deployment/ support experience with Cloud environments
Excellent knowledge of containerization, microservices, workflow management, orchestration, data streaming, in a public cloud setting.
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in a relevant field of study
Cloud Certification (Azure or GCP)
Proven experience with Azure DevOps, Release Pipelines, Automated Testing.
Familiarity with BRMS such as WODM.
Prior experience in Medicare Product authoring, regulatory filing, Member materials, etc.

WAH requirements: Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office. Associates or contractors who live and work from home in the state of California will be provided payment for their internet expense.
A minimum standard speed for optimal performance of 25x10 (25mpbs download x 10mpbs upload) is required.
