The Senior Data Manager supports all aspects of configuration control, data management, and deficiency reporting. The Senior Data Manager work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
Looking for Lead DataWarehouse developer with expert knowledge in SQL Server and SSIS. You will be working on a team that provides new development and production support for Healthcare Analytics data warehouse. In addition to advanced SQL ServerSSIS skills, we are looking for resources with DataWarehouse (DW), data modeling (Star schema) and SSRSPowerBI skill set . This is a fully remote position but candidates must live and work in the 48 contiguous states and be willing to work during core EST hours. The Senior Data Manager supports implementation of government and industry policies for requirements management, document management, change management, production and delivery, and configuration management of the performance, functional, and physical baselines. Acquires, validates, stores, protects, and processes required data to ensure the accessibility, reliability, and timeliness of the data for its users. Develops and executes architectures, policies, practices and procedures that properly manage the full data lifecycle needs of an enterprise. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
5-10 years of overall experience in ETL implementations using SSIS/Azure/Informatica/IBM Infosphere DataStage/Oracle ODI etc
5-10 years of experience in PL/SQL, and SQL Server Database
Experience in Data Warehousing design and development required
Good hands-on experience with ETL Design and frameworks using SSIS/Snowflake/Azure
Good understanding of ETL best practices and standards in general and specific to SSIS/Snowflake/Azure
Experience with data extraction and analysis technologies such as SAS, SPSS, QlickView, Hadoop, SQL or similar tools
Experience with reporting and creating metrics for management
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
This is a remote role, but will require working core business hours in EST.
Preferred Qualifications
5 years in Datawarehouse design
Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering and/or related field
​Experience taking complex data and making it more accessible, understandable and usable for leaders to derive insights
Healthcare or managed care experience
