This positions will be responsible for:
Developing the SAP Administration processes across the entire SAP application and system landscape to satisfy both BMS and external requirements
Ensure system performance and uptime by ensuring adequate monitoring and response.
Develop and drive automation to proactively react and adjust processes as needed.
Collaborate with Validation team to ensure that proper qualification of the hardware is performed and maintained.
Drive continuous improvement to reduce cost, improve service, and minimize disruption to the end user.
Manage a globally dispersed team including pool resources
Manage / provide direction to, a matrix team including Strategic Partner resources.
Support all necessary audit and inspections by satisfying information requests on a timely basis
Collaborate with the other infrastructure functions to ensure a holistic architecture across the SAP landscape
Manage budget for and all RUN demand for Administration including approvals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business, logistics or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years in systems related field.
Deep and Broad knowledge of the build and maintenance of SAP Systems (Basis) as well as an understanding of Database, Hardware, integration, and Network
S4 HANA, SCM, PPM (RPM), GRC, BW, BCS, ATTP, MDM, GTS, HANA DB, CE, Portals, and Solution Manager
Strong working knowledge of different SAP technologies: ABAP, JAVA, FIORI, SaaS (Cloud) Platform, AWS, Integration Components
Experience in a full life cycle implementation of multiple SAP Systems is preferred
Experience implementing and managing SAP interfaces in a FDA and GxP regulated environment.
Experience managing project personnel and budgets.
Experience managing projects or components of large projects.
Experience managing a team.
Routinely work with including leading teams composed of D6 / D7/ D8 levels
Able to manage a team of partner resources.
Able to influence Director and Executive Director level with oral and written presentations
Able to deal with ambiguity in problem definition and organizational relationships. Experience working in a matrix organization.
Able to manage work across virtual teams
Able to deal with and sensitive to cultural differences
Skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
Model the BMS core behaviors
Ability to produce clear and effective written presentations, memos, etc.
Able to effectively design and implement productivity improvements for the platform / OS/ DB / Basis operations
Creative thinking and demonstrated drive for continuous improvement / adoption of new technologies / techniques
Understands pharmaceutical industry dynamics - proactively and reactively applies this knowledge when making decisions
