Wells CWI Supervisor
What is the role
This role is for an offshore completions and interventions supervisor working in a deepwater environment. The role will involve a mixture of onshore and offshore working, based on demand, and will involve completion and intervention design in addition to offshore supervision during execution.
As a Wells CWI Supervisor, you will be responsible of the following duties:
Execution
: Works as an autonomous Wellsite Supervisor, supervise multi-disciplined specialist CWI Teams in the execution of on-site Completion and Well Intervention activities to deliver maximum value to the assigned Asset whilst maintaining HSSE standards. Provide exemplary HSSE Supervision and Leadership Skills with regards to on-site preparation and execution of all completion and Well Intervention activities
HSSE:
Ensure that HSSE has the highest priority during the preparation and execution of Completion and Well Intervention work programs and that safety management tools are fully utilized to minimize risk, (e.g. Assist and Assure safety program, Risk Assessments, MOC, Think Process Safety). Ensure all incidents, accidents and near misses are appropriately reported and are subject to the required level of investigation where necessary. Integrate HSSE in the design, programming, and execution of well work on completion and well intervention operations.
Well Design
Deliver world-class design/execution performance by embedding a continuous improvement approach and implementing full use of the Global Well Delivery Process (GWDP). Responsible for engineering the full lifecycle of completion and intervention activities for deep-water wells. This includes the design, planning, and executing of completion and well intervention operations, with the full integration of the relevant asset teams. Preparation of detailed completion designs, equipment and material selection, cost and time estimates, logistic/equipment procurement plans, analyzing/managing project risk.
Leadership
(People, Performance): Ensures effective and timely communication between office and well-site-based teams, rig / service contractors and logistics teams to ensure delivery of top class well delivery performance. Identifies and supports improvements staircase plan to deliver Top Quartile wells. Delivers progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Mentor
: Mentor & coach junior staff in all aspects of completion engineering design and operations, and in interaction with other asset teams.
Collaboration
: Support and foster relationships with Contracting & Procurement, Logistics, Subsurface, Production Operations and Subsea. Support engagements with JV partners where applicable and the development and analysis of competitive benchmarking to drive operational excellence.
Contract Management
: Lead the technical and HSSE management of relevant service provider contracts and support the contracting and procurement strategy. Collaborate with contractors regarding performance, future, variances, etc. as needed
Innovation
: Actively drive the identification, development, and implementation of new technologies and the opportunities to optimize field operations.
Requirements
What we need from you
Must have legal authorization to work in the Brazil on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
Minimum of 8 (eight) years working experience in deep-water environment or well intervention offshore industries
Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science, or any related field
Must have an excellent command of the English language (written and verbal)
Experienced Supervising Completion and Well Interventions offshore in a deep-water environment
Skilled in Well Delivery Program, Leading CWOP/ IWOP sessions, Prepare Completion Design Options and Program: Skill, Prepare Intervention Design and Options Program
Experienced in Well Control Equipment and Execute Well Control Operations, Well Interventions and Abandonment Operations, Completion and Well Intervention Units and Equipment
Leadership or management skills
Preferred IADC or IWCF certified
