We have an exciting opportunity to join our team and be a part of modernization our Data Ecosystem at Humana from an on prem solution to a cloud solution. As a Senior Software Engineer you will be able to utilize your current ETL and Database skillsets while learning on the job the newest cloud capabilities and building the future of how we manage enterprise data.

Responsibilities

The Senior Software Engineer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software. Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes. Researches complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues. Begins to influence department's strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.

Required Qualifications


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field or Equivalent Experience
5 or more years of experience designing, developing, and testing of software applications and/or infrastructure
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Experience with ETL tools i.e. Streamsets, Informatica etc.
Experience with SQL and Data Warehousing
Agile / Solutuons oriented individual


Preferred Qualifications


Master's Degree
Experience using .net and csharpe programming language.
Experience using cloud functions (databricks, knowledge of Python & Spark).
Cloud Certification
Technical knowledge and experience of cloud services for Azure and/or GCP.
