Job Summary:
Electronic Board Design is a collaborative process that requires 3D Model files exchange between mCAD Software Creo and eCAD Software Cadence. The objective of this iterative Design Process is to ensure that the mechanical environment of the board does not interfere with electrical packaging (components and routes placement). This process is manual and relies on human communication.
This internship aims at automating electrical board design using Sigmaxim Programming Language. This language is an over-layer that uses Creo APIs to execute commands in the background.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Identify Board mechanical environment constraints geometry (Stiffeners and Board Covers)
Model and Sketch the Electrical Component Package and Tracks Route authorized zones.
Provide a single exchange file format that is supported by Creo and Cadence.
Qualification:
Master’s degree – 2 nd year or final year of Engineering School
Competencies:
Mechanics
Computer-Aided-Design tools knowledge
Coding and Programming experience.
