Senior Network Performance Management Engineer

Job Description

Xangati is looking for a senior software engineer in network performance management to make significant contributions
to its product suite. Specifically, this position calls for design and development of software for virtual and physical
network performance monitoring and management. Being team oriented with effective communication skills and
possessing signficant and relevant hands-on implementation experience is essential.

Duties include

investigate virtual networking technologies and incorporate their performance monitoring and management into product
produce design specifications
develop new network performance monitoring and management components, including unit testing
maintain existing network performance monitoring and management components
produce test specifications for network performance monitoring and management components
handle support and feedback regarding network performance monitoring and management components

Desired Skills & Experience

Required:
Significant hands-on software development and implementation experience with the following:
network performance management in virtual and physical environments
physical and virtual router configuration and troubleshooting
netflow and packet capture
routing protocols
network management protocols
Linux development environment and tools
VMware and other virtual environments

Preferred:
Singnificant hands-on implementation experience with
Windows development environment
WMI
network performance tuning
