Advisor Jobs description
An engineering advisor is an experienced professional responsible for providing advice in the area of technological development and expansion. An engineering advisor may be responsible for studying a product’s market and the procedures used in the manufacturing of a product; suggesting solutions for engineering problems; suggesting innovative and more effective ways of manufacturing; troubleshooting when the machines breakdown; providing training to new engineering personnel; advising engineering managers; preparing documents and reports regarding the use of technology; coordinating with managers from engineering and other departments participating in health and safety policies formulation; and promoting technological know-how in an organization. An engineering advisor typically reports to an engineering manager or engineering director.An engineering advisor should have a bachelor\'s degree in an engineering discipline and several years of experience working in the area. Strong expertise in a particular field of engineering is usually required for such positions.
