Analyst Jobs description
An engineering analyst is a highly-skilled person in a specific field of engineering and is responsible for advising the management on important technical decisions. An engineering analyst is responsible for studying organizational facilities and machineries; troubleshooting when the machines breakdown; providing training to new engineering staff; advising the engineering personnel; suggesting the management on effective utilization of resources and productivity; participating in health and safety policies formulation; offering advice to the management on technical advancements; preparing documents and reports regarding the use of technology; coordinating with managers from engineering and other departments; and promoting technological know-how in the organization. An engineering analyst typically reports to an engineering manager or engineering director.An engineering analyst should have a bachelor\'s degree in an engineering discipline and several years of experience working in the field. Prior experience working as an engineering technician, engineering specialist, engineering analyst, engineering consultant, or engineering advisor is an advantage.
