Associate Jobs description
An engineering associate is responsible for performing both administrative and technical work in an engineering setting. An engineering associate\'s typical responsibilities include performing research in the area of engineering; preparing reports for the research and circulate as required; assisting the engineer or chief engineer in engineering and administrative duties; troubleshooting equipment problems at a facility; performing other tasks assigned by the engineering manager; helping or training new engineering associates; following OSHA and other regulations while performing work; and coordinating with manufacturing, marketing, logistics, or inventory managers. An engineering associate reports to an engineering manager.An engineering associate position may be available with an engineering company, manufacturing division, telecom department, electronics manufacturer, electronics/telecommunication service provider, etc. An engineering associate has a qualification in an engineering discipline. Excellent academic credentials are required. Prior experience working as an engineering associate or engineering assistant is desirable for such positions.
