Foley & Lardner LLP is seeking a junior level associate with 2-3 years of IP Litigation experience to join our pre-eminent, national IP Litigation Practice Group in our Milwaukee, Chicago, or Boston office. Qualified candidate must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science and will possess experience through all phases of patent litigation, ideally in matters involving software, medical devices, and/or computer hardware. Excellent academic credentials, research, writing, and communication skills are required. Clerkship experience preferred but not essential. Experience handling either PTAB proceedings or trademark, copyright and advertising cases is a plus. We have a growing, dynamic IP litigation practice in offices throughout the U.S. Our associates work on interesting cases, take on challenging responsibilities, and are able to grow their careers in a collaborative team environment, working with partners who are committed to their success. We are seeking a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated attorney, who is eager to learn and gain valuable experience while supporting attorneys in several of our offices. To be considered, a candidate must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and be in good standing and an active member of the bar of the state in which the candidate is admitted to practice. Timely admission to the state bar coinciding with the office of hire will be a condition of employment.
