Senior Test Engineer/Lead

Profile

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

6 – 10 years of total testing experience

4 – 6 Years of experience in Selenium automation along with strong Java skills

4 Years of Database testing experience. Well versed with SQL and automate database testing

3 years of experience in Linux with Linux skills

2 Experience with TestNG, Maven/Jenkins and Selenium grid

Good communication skills and interpersonal skills

Well versed with waterfall and agile methodologies

Knowledge in Big Data technologies and Big Data automation is huge plus

Must Have:

Development and implementation of a test automation strategy.

Coaching and guiding the functional test teams on structuring of test data, function libraries, test steps, scenario scripts, business rules and any other framework design elements.

Provide technical leadership and alignment with strategic direction in building out the testing automation framework based on a specific set of guiding principles, architectural recommendations, standards and best practices.

Participate in all aspects of product delivery, including review of design documents, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications

Interpret product specifications and develop comprehensive test design/plan to perform functional and load testing

Work Closely with Business Analysis and Engineering Staff to Ensure Test Cases are Valid

Document, Track, and Communicate Test Plans, Test Results, Analysis, and Unresolved Problems

Defect Analysis and Tracking Identify, Analyze, and Document Defects, Questionable Functions, Errors and Inconsistencies in Software Program Functions, Outputs, Screens, and Content

Participate in Development Projects/Agile Teams from Origination to Completion

Defining the testing activities for his team and Managing the test planning

Manage to write and evaluate automated tests at the unit, services/integration, and UI layers, using the software automation tools.

Compatibility Testing and Performance Monitoring, Risk Management

Qualification

Requires: BS (Computers), MS in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field
