Looking for a senior project engineer or a senior project manager who will be assigned projects that they will quote, work with a local customer base, and carry through to production.
We are privately held with 26 years in the business. We have a relatively flat organizational structure where the candidate regularly sees the owner. We have a trusting culture where the senior project engineer can run their show. We take pride in their creativity and their aggressive pace.
Depending on the phase of the product, the senior project engineer will review the tasks on hand, create quotes, support sales by facilitating technical conversations with customers, dialing in the supply chain, and partner with quality through the launch.
The senior project engineer will report to the VP of engineering.
The senior project engineer will have five-plus years of experience with exposure to metal processing, machining forging, and casting, with competence in quality and testing processes. Mastery of Supply Chain as well. The senior project engineer will interact with customer service, contracts, manufacturing for OEM customers. 90% of the production is for the heavy equipment industry and heavy trucks. We also have oil and gas Industry customers.
Travel will be in the 25% range domestic and internationally. There is a possibility for remote work and to fly in when needed. In-person is desired.
