Job Description
Major Job Responsibilities
Follows launch template.
Ensures readiness for flawless launches.
Develops and works to implement plans to meet all launch deliverables.
Escalate and coordinate resolutions of project issues.
Document and communicate team activities.
Steps in and accomplishes tasks where there are gaps between functional areas.
Presents launch status updates to GMCH Headquarters and the Plant Staff.
Responsible for the effective use of personnel, material, and equipment
Meets production Launch schedule and maintains quality requirements
Complies with the terms of local and national labor agreements
Implements divisional and corporate policies
Implements safety and good WPO housekeeping standards
Frequent contact with others outside the work group
Keeps management informed of developments as they occur
Maintains corporate and unit management control systems.
Maintains department records
Major Job Qualifications / Specific Skills
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedure
Knowledge of scheduling and other management systems
High level analytical ability where problems are complex
Problem solving / continuous improvement skills
High level interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization, motivate employees and elicit work output
Excellent oral and written communications.
Working knowledge of GMS requirements.
Team building skills.
Product knowledge.
Knowledge of quality control procedures
Prior supervisory experience
Education and/or Training:
Bachelor degree in Engineering / Business or equivalent experience
