Growing award winning global client is looking to add a Test Engineer for their Quality Team.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Quality Manager and work with Technicians, Manufacturing Engineering and Product Development teams
Verify that newly developed products meet all applicable specifications
Participation in the creation of testing strategies and plans for newly developed products and changes to existing products, including preparation of effort estimates for plan execution
Create test setups and execution of product and system tests
Documentation of test plans and test results
Participation in the conception, development and implementation of new test equipment and automation of existing test equipment
Facilitate maintenance and servicing of test equipment
Execution of test failure analysis for newly developed products
Work with Manufacturing Engineering to assure that relevant new product testing protocols are applied to serial production
Skills / Background:
BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
3 years of experience in a Test Engineer role
Experience in an electrical products manufacturing environment
Experience with mechanical test and trouble shooting skills
Experience with electrical testing equipment (Oscilloscope, DMM’s, data acquisition)
Experience supporting product development is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment
Excellent organization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Self-driven and willing to acquire new skills to grow in the position
ASQ Certification(s) a plus - CQE, CQT, CRE, CSSGB
