We are the perfect Automation Controls Engineer role for you!
A “day in the life” of an Automation Controls Engineer:
Participate in kick-off meeting with client to develop full understanding of client requirements.
Consult with client, vendors, application engineers, and production to determine optimum project plan.
Design and document electrical designs based upon client requirements.
Develop PLC and HMI code in Rockwell, Siemens, Allen Bradley and other various platforms.
Incorporate ladder logic, servo automation, motors, panels, controllers, and other interfaces as required.
Ensure new system is fully tested and meets all safety requirements.
Maintain regular communication and follow-up with production to ensure a quality product is delivered to the client.
Work on-site at client locations as needed to ensure a successful installation.
Requirements:
What we need from you to be our next Automation Controls Engineer:
Minimum of Associate Degree in Automation Systems or related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HMI/PLC programming with Rockwell, Allen Bradley or Siemens technology
Proficiency in Outlook/Microsoft Office products
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
Hold valid driver’s license with ability to drive to client sites
